WebA mental health team (MHT) is part of community care. Community care means you get treatment outside of a hospital stay. You may be referred to an MHT if you need more support with your mental health. MHT’s are staffed with professionals such as a psychiatrist and psychologists. WebMatt is a member of the Southwest Texas Fusion Center Public Safety Threat Assessment Group that serves as the community-based threat assessment team for the Greater San Antonio area, and he is the Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, and South Texas Liaison for the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) Texas Chapter.
