It uses "Legacy standard effects": Levels, LumaSharpen, Vibrance, Colourfulness and HighPassSharp. Color is a little warmer, but basically identical to original colors in DCS. You can use reshade to remedy the problem a little bit but since Syria uses its own 3 different gamma curves for ground, trees and sky you need 2 different presets for reshade filters: One for syria and for the rest.

Through the dcs forums I been made aware of a working reshade version that works for DCS, dirt rally 2.0, elite dangerous, Iracing and assetto corsa as far as I have tested.
